Interview with General Swartzkopf – he got very emotional, started crying. The interviewer asked you’re a general and you’re crying, Swartzkopf said I wouldn’t trust a man that wouldn’t cry. Real men stick together and never quit. Keep going, stick it out, preserve, stay in the trenches. Paul is a real man, he didn’t run away he was unashamed. Jesus died for us, can we die for Him? Yes must be willing to do for Christ. Paul, “I have kept the faith, I have finished My race. When trials and persecution came I rejoiced and counted it all good because Romans 8:28 “all things work for the good to those who are called according to their purpose.” He rejoiced in all Circumstances, trials and tribulations work out our faith and our patience. Trials and tribulations was making Paul stronger chipping away at those hard edges broken up stones, hard times work out his perfection, chipping away stones in heart, developing Godly character his resolve only got stronger instead of tucking tail and running he become implacable, immovable for the gospel. He was determined to finish race. For the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross, he saw you coming into his family, saw you making Him Lord of your life, he saw you walking in his commandments with obedience, he saw you coming down in the annals of time, and he bought you with His blood and it was well with it. We are more valuable than Him suffering on the cross, the scourging, beard ripped off, He was going to the cross so that He could have a family, He was going to overcome the death and the grave so that we may never die in our sins but live with Him forevermore. He died, buried, resurrection so that you could die to your sins, REPENTENCE, Buried so you could be buried with Him in Baptism, then Resurrection so that you could be rised by the Holy Ghost into eternal life and live with Him forever, Hallelujah!
Death – Repentance, Circumcised from the flesh (Colossians 2:11)
Burial – Baptism (Colossians 2:12)
Resurrection – Through Faith of the Operation of God who hath raised Christ (Colossians 2:12)
Sin is like a chocolate cake, it looks good on the outside, it tastes good, it feels good. But it only lives you fat, disgusted, empty, and ugly in the end. Just like sin it may look good, it may be fun in the beginning but in the end it only leads to death and vanity. How can this be bad it feels good, gossip feels good, How can this be sin it feels so good, but in the end thereof is death.
For the wages of sin are death.
Sin makes a lot of promises but it can never deliver.
Do all things without complaining!!!!
The unthankful is always the unhappy
He who sows to the flesh will reap death, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap life. Galatians 6:8
Ephesians 5:8-21
King James Version (KJV)
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Ephesians 4 1I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Praise the Lord Forevermore!
Rejoice and be glad.
Philippians 4:8 Whatever is pure, holy, just think on godly things.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
We are called to be a thankful people.
Moses was a father figure to Israel.
Take 100% responsibility top leaders even take responsibility for others.
Managers take responsibility for others, They say it’s my fault they are not working out, I hired them, I didn’t train them right, teach them right.
Be holy for a holy.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Will of God to be thankful in all circumstances.
Paul said to live is Christ and to die is gain. What do you do with a man like that?
The only thing that matters is what we do for God.
Paul’s stoned, jailed, and shipwrecked – response it was nothing but a light affliction. It was all worth it.
1st - Born Again 2nd Holy Ghost Baptism – Speaking of Tongues 1Corinthians 12:28
Speaking in Tongues is the first gift God gives to use, and practice the spiritual gifts, others will be given to me. I pray for and seek interpretation, prophecy.
There was a lady who was wisely rebuked for not using Tongues after being baptized in the Holy Ghost. God gave her the gift to use, edify, build her faith, and to pray with and intercede for others.
One BIG key to living a Christian life is to do all things without murmurings, complaining, and spoutings trying to get others to join in. Do all things without complaining and rejoice in all circumstances. Die daily to our flesh and take up our cross and make Jesus Lord everyday!!! Pray in tongues! Pray without ever ceasing!!! AMEN!
